Wood Finishing Technician
Location: Cavalier, ND | Pay: $22-$25/hr | Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local cabinet company in Cavalier, ND to hire a detail-oriented Finishing Technician . This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to work with a team that values quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, staining, and sealing to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes
• Apply stains, sealers, and topcoats using air-atomizing spray equipment
• Maintain spray booth cleanliness and ensure optimal working conditions
• Inspect completed parts for color consistency, smoothness, and defects
• Troubleshoot and adjust spray settings, including pressure, viscosity, and gun configuration

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in wood or industrial spray finishing preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
• Proficient with air-spray equipment and other finishing tools
• Strong eye for color matching and surface quality
• Able to read and follow batch tickets and finish schedules
• Safety-focused with attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
