If you are interested, please review below and apply, we can discuss where and at what level you might be able to fit into this **Atlantic Property Team**.**What Youll Do (All Levels):*** Support our claims customer demand through a call-center or phone/text environment.* Investigate and negotiate property claims in accordance with Aviva's procedures and guidelines.* Confirm coverage and compile FNOL (First Notice of Loss) information.* Ensure data accuracy and issue payments to vendors, insureds, and experts.* Analyze estimates, value claims, and negotiate settlements.* Provide prompt, exemplary customer service and keep stakeholders informed.* Prepare correspondence including Critical Path, Proof of Loss, and reservation of rights letters.* Recognize questionable claims, subrogation, and risk opportunities.* Review case law to determine liability.* Meet performance expectations and contribute to team success.* Adhere to attendance and operational policies.**Role-Specific Responsibilities:**Junior Adjuster:* Handle standard property claims with support and training.* Participate in a comprehensive training program.* Strong Customer service abilities* Support during high-volume catastrophes.Intermediate Adjuster:* Manage more complex residential property claims.* Handle liability and condominium claims.* Work independently within a fast-paced environment.* Support during high-volume plex Adjuster:* Handle complex personal and commercial property claims.* Provide expert guidance to peers and stakeholders.* Manage large losses, business income, builders risk, and other specialized claims.* Support during high-volume catastrophes.**What Youll Bring:**Junior:* 13 years of insurance, call center, or customer service experience.* Strong communication and organizational skills.* Continuing dedication to education and willing to participate in CIP courses.Intermediate:* 2+ years of property claims experience.* Experience with moderate water, fire and condo claims.* CIP completed or in plex:* 5+ years of property claims experience, including large losses and commercial claims.* 2+ years of first-party commercial claims experience.* CIP/FCIP preferred; Atlantic licenses required.* Strong critical thinking and stakeholder coordination skills.Assets for All Roles:* Claims adjusting licenses in (NB, PEI and NL).* Strong computer proficiency (Guidewire, Excel, Word, Outlook).* Bilingualism (English/French) or knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Punjabi.**What youll get:*** Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.* Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.* Outstanding Career Development opportunities.* Well support your professional development education.* Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per year* Employee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusion* Corporate wellness programs to support our employees physical and mental healthPlease note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
