We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in controls and automation systems. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and control equipment including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation. You’ll support the reliability and performance of production systems and play a key role in equipment upgrades and automation improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and wiring of control panels, sensors, HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs

• Diagnose and repair control system and electrical issues on production equipment

• Calibrate instrumentation and verify proper control loop functionality

• Assist with updates or modifications to PLC/HMI programs under engineering guidance

• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs

• Work with engineers and other technicians on new installations and system upgrades

• Maintain service logs and update documentation on all completed work

• Follow safety procedures and site-specific maintenance protocols

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with controls or automation systems

• Familiar with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMIs

• Knowledge of VFDs, motor control, sensors, and related components

• Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and diagrams

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety practices

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Electrical, Automation, or similar field preferred

• Willingness to travel or work overtime as needed (may include occasional overnight trips)
