SUMMARY

A Wiedenbach Brown Estimator is responsible for the precise and timely estimation of lighting projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of client, vendor and peer relationship building skill, lighting competency, aptitude for detail, desire to win and effectiveness contributing to positive company culture. An experienced Estimator will be trained on WB processed + standards, and integrated into the team based on experience level.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the overall execution of the project bidding phase
• Extensive and effective collaboration and coordination with the Client, Client’s Design Team, Sales, Jr. Estimators and Project Managers
• Analyze and evaluate architectural drawings
• Produce lighting fixture and controls quantity take-offs
• Identify and RFI discrepancies in specifications and drawings
• Request pricing and lead times through vendors
• Produce comprehensive lighting quotations
• Produce submittal packages

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Five+ years' of experience in Lighting Estimating/ Quotations required
• Proven ability to build successful internal and external relationships
• A strong aptitude and appreciation for the detail required
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents
• Experience with Bluebeam software (or similar on screen take off software)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Strong verbal and written communications skill
• Strong time management and organizational skill
• Positive customer service skills
• Positive attitude
• Teachable
