We are looking for a skilled Front-End Email Developer to support our agency client in Troy, Michigan on an ongoing freelance basis. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in email design and development, capable of delivering high-quality and effective email campaigns. The role requires an expert level of HTML coding experience, a collaborative approach, attention to detail, and a willingness to support related tasks as needed. This is an ongoing freelance role, ideal for Email Developers looking for ad-hoc part-time work that can fluctuate with workload needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build responsive, visually appealing HTML emails using industry-standard coding practices.

• Ensure email campaigns are thoroughly tested for functionality across different devices and platforms.

• Collaborate with the team to implement creative solutions that align with branding guidelines.

• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create and optimize graphics and design elements for email templates.

• Follow precise directions while maintaining a focus on quality and attention to detail.

• Perform quality assurance checks on email campaigns to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Support additional projects, such as QA testing and assisting with course-building systems, as required.

• Maintain flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and contribute to team goals.

• Communicate effectively to ensure network access and system requirements are met for project delivery.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on email development.
• Experience working with email marketing platforms and design tools.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite for creating visual assets.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• A solid understanding of design principles and the ability to create high-quality layouts.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a detail-oriented role.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Availability during standard business hours and, ideally, the ability to periodically work on-site in Troy, Michigan.
